Car rental internal and external services
In this project, I need to work together with the user research and interaction colleagues to develop a tool software specifically tailored for actual offline and business needs. Since this is a pure tool software, efficiency is crucial, and it needs to allow internal and external personnel to complete operations quickly;
Moreover, due to the high volume and variety of orders, there is a very high requirement for clear hierarchy, so I need to achieve clarity and efficiency in the design.

Product introduction
Didi's car rental business adopts a model without storefronts, only setting up service points, so it relies on internal and external staff to complete business operations on their phones.
User habits
Users have not been using smartphones for long and are not very skilled at using software. Their usage habits mostly involve tapping, so we have designed the operable features of the page as large color blocks and large buttons as much as possible.
Business requirements
As this is a pure utility software, work efficiency is very important, requiring both on-site and off-site staff to complete operations quickly; and due to the high volume and variety of orders, there is a very high demand for clear hierarchical structure.
Process Progress
The terminology for different parts is inconsistent among internal and external staff, causing mutual misunderstanding. By dividing according to industry standards of 21 surfaces, we further standardize.
A unified explanation of scar types is provided, and operations are performed in a point-and-click format to enable internal and external staff to complete records more quickly and standardized.
TAB class selection button
Distinguish between selected and unselected items for easier viewing. Suitable
for the habits of both internal and external users (tapping operation).
Input button
Input-type buttons should visually indicate clickability, but should be distinguished from global buttons and tab selection buttons; the two input methods are retained because research indicates that input buttons are efficient, but
if the number is an integer, users prefer to slide to select the fuel amount.

Time-based rental
Car rental business version 2.0 has added services like car sharing and
overseas car rentals on top of the original offerings. The style of the original
service does not meet the requirements, and it needs to be iterated on without
changing user habits.

Product Introduction
The car rental business version 2.0 has added services such as car sharing and overseas rentals on top of the original offerings. The existing style of the services does not meet needs and must be iterated upon without changing user habits.
User habits
For new users, we consider two points: the distinction between full-day rentals and hourly rentals;
and the confusion about what hourly rentals and full-day rentals are before placing an order.
So I tried to convey this through animation.
Simplified input
Entering too much information can make users feel complicated and cumbersome, which affects the order placement. To address this, we have adopted a simplified design in the hope of resolving the barriers during use.
Adaptive Information Bar
In the default state, complete information can be displayed, and during the dropdown process, it can
be minimized to show more vehicle information, making it convenient for users to check
order information at any time, reducing concerns about entering incorrect information.
